About Valley Otolaryngology
What is an Otolaryngologist?
An otolaryngologist, also known as an ENT (ear, nose, and throat) doctor, is a medical specialist who diagnoses and treats conditions related to the ear, nose, throat, and related structures of the head and neck. They manage a wide range of issues, including hearing loss, sinus problems, voice disorders, and head and neck cancers. Otolaryngologists perform both medical and surgical treatments for these conditions. A referral is required for assessment by an otolaryngologist.

Our practice involves surgical and medical treatment of problems in the head and neck. We treat children and adults of all ages from all over the Maritimes, but largely from Nova Scotia. Our patient care is based in our Kentville office and Valley Regional Hospital, where we perform minor procedures and major surgeries. All initial consultations take place in our downtown Kentville office where we determine your best options for testing and treatment.
